A message from our Executive Director in response to the COVID-19 crisis
Dear Lift UP family, staff and volunteers,
As we move deeper into the quarantine to help diminish the spread of COVID-19, we wanted to share an update.
The health and well-being of our of staff, volunteers and clients remains our top priority for Lift UP. Because our many of clients are the most vulnerable to this pandemic, we are adjusting (and will continue to adjust) our services to be able to continue to provide food and nutrition critical to our community.
Preston’s Pantry – open with modified operations
Delivered Food Boxes – modified operations
Supper Club – postponed until further notice
We are incredibly grateful to the many of you have reached out to us to ask how you can help. Our services are vulnerable because we depend on a complex supply chain of businesses, suppliers and volunteers that depend on the health and well-being of their suppliers and employees, etc. It’s never been more clear; we are all in this together.
So we can focus on the operations of providing continued services to Portland’s most vulnerable, please consider donating here.
The most important thing you can do, of course, is to take care of yourself, and each other.
Together, we will get through this.
Thank you for your dedication to Lift UP and stay healthy!
