The Power of Legacy Giving:

Your legacy gift, no matter its form, will resonate throughout time, echoing the generosity of your spirit and your dedication to lifting others.

When we receive the news that Lift UP features in your will or estate strategy, it would be our greatest pleasure to embrace you as a cherished member of our Legacy Society.

Your role in this special community will serve as a testament to your dedication and kindness, leaving a footprint on the heart of Lift UP that will inspire future generations.

Have You Included Us in Your Estate Plan?

In the grand narrative of our lives, we often find ourselves contemplating the kind of footprint we want to leave. How can we ensure our lives continue to affect others positively, long after our time has passed? The answer lies in the powerful act of creating a legacy gift.

A legacy gift is a planned future donation given through a will or other form of designation. It is a gesture that extends beyond one’s lifetime, leaving a lasting imprint that resonates across generations.

You hold the power to make a lasting impact on Lift UP through thoughtful estate planning. Various avenues are open to you, and engaging the guidance of an attorney specialized in estate planning can assist you in navigating this vital journey.

Create a Lasting Tribute.

A planned gift is a beautiful way to honor a loved one or commemorate your life. It’s a meaningful tribute that keeps giving, ensuring that the memory and spirit of the individual live on through the positive change their gift facilitates.

Touching Future

Generations.

By embracing planned giving, you play a pivotal role in fortifying Lift UP's future. Your generous contribution will create a ripple of prosperity, touching the lives of future generations who will carry your legacy of kindness in their hearts.

Financial Benefits.

Your heirs may receive tax benefits. All donations are 100% tax-deductible, to the full extent of the law.

Why Should You Make a Legacy Gift?

How Will Your Legacy Gift Be Used?

Specified Beneficiary

You may specifically designate one or more of our programs as a beneficiary.

Unrestricted Beneficiary

You may choose to make the use of your gift unrestricted.

Due to our community’s ever-changing needs, our strategy for supporting these needs can change over time. Unrestricted bequests allow future generations to use your gift to quickly address the most crucial needs at that time.

Get to Know a Few of Our Legacy Members

Like a lot of older people, I have a limited income. Though I regularly donate to several charities, including Lift UP, I have to balance philanthropy with my current and projected needs. However, at some point, I will have no further needs of my own. I have no children to provide for, and my siblings are financially secure. Because I know how much good Lift UP will continue to do in the future, including it in my will was an easy decision.

Bonny Groshong

As a founder of this organization, it is important to me that it continues its mission of improving lives with innovative programs that address community needs as they arise. My family joins me in donating to Lift UP and supports my decision to include it in my estate plan.
