Hungarian Mushroom Soup

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • ¼ cup sour cream

  • 2 tbsp lemon juice

  • 2 tbsp parsley

  • 3 tbsp corn starch (optional, for thickening)


Directions


Begin by melting butter in a heavy pot or Dutch oven. Add the onions and mushrooms, and cook until the onions are tender.

Blend in the dill, thyme, and paprika. Pour in your stock and white wine, and let the soup simmer.


To thicken the soup, whisk cornstarch in water and add to the pot. Let it simmer to achieve the perfect consistency.
